Wild At Heart “Glamping” Shoot - Victoria, BC
A gorgeous styled wedding shoot at Cadboro Bay, on Vancouver Island! From the Photographer, Maru Photography: “Our inspiration for this shoot came from a desire to showcase two major trends in elopements: wanderlust and sustainability, both of which we whole-heartedly embrace!…We partnered with local, sustainably-minded vendors in an effort to demonstrate that a ‘small footprint on the earth’ doesn’t mean a small impact at your wedding. Kira and Nate (a real-life recently married couple who do in fact, roam the pacific northwest in a camper van in their real life too!) tied their ‘wild at heart’ knot ocean side, on the unspoiled beach…All the decor pieces for both ceremony and reception were sourced locally in Victoria, foraged and locally-sourced botanicals were used to create all the floral elements, hand-crafted ceramic plates and recycled linen calligraphy paper rounded out the reception and invitation details with a minimal-meets-organic aesthetic, and all the food was also locally sourced, organically grown and prepared on site by a local chef…”
